City Noise

Someone asked me what I will miss the most when I move away. I hadn't really thought about

"most" because I will miss it all. I have lived in this city my entire life (with the exception of a few summers in NY as a kid). But, in the wee hours of the morning, as the bar near me closed and the employees are outside talking, I realized, I will miss the city noise and the city soul the most.

The city is a beautiful place. It helps you understand life isn't perfect and we all need to work together to have a good, happy, and decent life. The city understands the struggle and meets it with people looking to help and birds ready to sing. The city is proof of life and death, the human connection, and the vibration of all living things. The city soothes me to sleep and awakes me from my dreams... The city noise is what makes me feel most alive and what I will miss the most.
