HOPPENSTANCE
Jacque Irizarry
Better together.
I grew up in poverty and felt the restrictions on life, but also felt the warmth of community. Since then, I dream of a world where everyone is free and has the resources they need. A world where we take care of each other through community, empathy, and action.
More than beer.
Beer is part of how I got here…the other part is my heart! I started beer-blogging as a way to highlight women in the industry and the breweries doing great work. I quickly realized, I am more than beer and I want to talk about real life things, perhaps with a beer in hand.
Activist. Artist. Designer. Dreamer.
Changing the world with art community, kindness, hope, empathy, compassion and love.

Community
Projects that build hope and strengthen our communities
Be a hawk of hope for yourself and others.
The vision to others, especially our most vulnerable community members, through art, activism, and non-profits has been a driving factor in my art and services.
Let’s build stronger communities, foster change, and give everyone a chance to find a hawk of hope in this world.
The Art of Helping People
I am an Artist, Activist, Designer, and Dreamer focused on the art of helping people and making the world a better place through graphic design, branding, and community involvement. My art and services are rooted in vulnerability, compassion, and crafting change in a world that often feels isolating and dark.
I started out in beer photography and designing beer labels, but my focus has shifted as I evolve as a person, an artist, and witness the destruction around us. I unequivocally denounce the genocide on Gaza and any narrative that this the cost of “war”. Never in the history of conflict has war been the root of peace.
I started my Let’s Love Louder campaign because we live in a world where we amplify hate and sideline acts of love and humanity. We live in a world where we are scared to show joy, love, and vulnerability for fear of being hurt. I want to remind others: love is courageous and is the foundation of crafting change. Free Palestine, Lebanon, Congo, Sudan, Yemen and all oppressed people around the world!
